For too many years, my soul suffered in silence; cruelly caged by an oppressive, overly-critical mind; a mind  poisoned by debilitating doubt, fear, guilt and shame. Imprisoned by insecurity, my soul longed for the immediate arrival of an emancipator; a heavenly hero sent to liberate it from its self-imposed bondage. Despite my soul’s impassioned pleas, freedom remained elusive. See, freedom requires more than passionate posturing, prayers and pleas; freedom requires radical rebellion – a deliberate dismantling of domineering patterns and conditioning – by any means necessary! Formidable force is required to overthrow ruthless regimes; regimes rooted in a soul’s stagnation and destruction.

 

Mental evolution is an act of revolution for a soul suffering in bondage! It is only in dissecting one’s own duplicity that one ultimately understands that they are both the oppressed and their own oppressor; their greatest ally and their greatest enemy. The greatest threat to one’s soul survival lies not in external fated forces; but in one’s internal, problematic programming. Everyone suffers; no one is spared the pangs of pain, yet some transmute that pain into power. See, pain is not purposeless; pain can push us into the depths of our own self-created hells or propel us to our greatest heights. Pain understands its own power; for it is only through the pain of determination, dedication and discipline that one can reclaim their own personal dominance; their own personal freedom.
