FAITH

When the grounds underneath you violently quake and rumble;

Triggering your structure to shockingly shake and crumble;

You must hold ever tightly to diminishing hope;

For God has gifted you the divine ability to cope.

Seek not outside of yourself for salvation, my dear;

For salvation is found in your choosing of faith over fear.

I am no theologian, but from what I can glean,

Faith is simply believing in things unseen.

The bible is filled with many a story

Of divine deliverance and God’s glory.

Feel no shame, for it is human nature to doubt. God just asks you to remain anchored in his ability to work it out!

So, as you boldly stand in the remnants and dust,

Let the tears feverishly fall but never relinquish trust.

God implores you to surrender all resistance;

For your heavenly assistance is swiftly arriving in the distance.

Never allow fear to cloud what you know to be true.

Remain steadfast and faithful – your God has not forgotten you!
